Yesterday, I posted a challenge to any and all who wanted to participate in a fun character design experiment. forum.deviantart.com/community…
This is how it's going so far. While not a 'pure' 'taur as laid out in the challenge, it's still a split creature, lower and upper halves. I started out with traditional six limbs, quadruped plus upper torso, but the functionality of the character was greatly diminished, so I axed the front limbs and just stretched a single torso to fit the other design parameters, which is great because one of the characteristics of the lizard in question is the short limbs compared to the length of the torso.
This isn't the final pose. I have something else planned for the character. This one's mostly just to work out the design.

I'm glad this isn't the character's final pose; she (am I right about the gender?) looks as if she can hardly walk, run, etc.
